Principal Technical Product Owner, SuccessFactors

Responsibilities
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for Employee Central
Develop detailed requirements and ensure they’re clearly understood by the Technology team
Assess value and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
Serve as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the product
Present updates on COE calls
Develop and maintain clear intake process to monitor requests and issues
Receive Business requests from employee data leads via intake process
High-level overview of items for SFGB
Communicate with internal and external customers with timelines and expectations
Define and manage long-term technical roadmaps (often 1–3 years) that align with enterprise architecture and business goals
Prioritize items as they are presented, taking into account the effort, business necessity, and impact on employee experience
Create, assign, and maintain roles, profiles, and permission groups
Protect sensitive employee data (PII, health info) and ensure adherence to regulations (GDPR, SOX, IC)
Conduct security audits, investigate events, and enforce strong security measures based on findings
Handle security incidents, provide escalations, and manage communication
Manage security aspects of system upgrades, patches, and user administration
Partner with HR Technology and IT to define security requirements and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years experience in product development and/or project management
In-depth knowledge of agile process and principles
Advanced SuccessFactors knowledge
Preferred
Scrum methodologies
Understanding of business value around feature/functions
Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs
Experience in HCM security models, permissions, and personas

Compensation may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
