UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking an Analyst II to support the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in Washington, DC. This role involves significant contributions to the Special Crash Investigations and the Crash Investigation Division, focusing on quality control and administrative support.

Responsibilities

Tracking of cases through the quality control process

Minor quality control duties

Generating ad hoc reports for the SCI team leader

Various administrative support duties aligned with CID strategic goals, mission, and potential expansion of CISS and CRSS Primary Sampling Units during the period of performance

Required

B.S. degree preferred

Two (2+) years of experience

High skill levels in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Extensive experience developing presentations and writing technical reports

Experience or aptitude to work with one or more of the following: Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS), Crash Investigation Sampling System (CISS), Crash Reporting Sampling System (CRSS), Motor vehicle crash-related data files, including data from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Census Bureau, and R.L. Polk

Skills in applying fact-finding and investigative techniques

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience analyzing reasonably complex programs

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level

A minimum of three (3) years US residency, or US Citizenship, is required for a Public Trust clearance at this location
