Create sheet metal drawings for fabrication and assembly
Collaborate with sales to understand customer needs
Release completed drawings to production
Participate in meetings to find design solutions
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Visit production areas for design assistance
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of design experience with AutoCAD
Proficiency in Microsoft productivity software
Ability to read tape measure to 1/16 inch
Basic math and angle recognition skills
Preferred
Training in CAD programs like SolidWorks
Experience in manufacturing environments
Effective communication skills
Self-motivated and multitasking abilities
