Responsibilities

Maintain essential contract documents and data within contract databases in compliance with corporate purchasing, finance, and compliance policies
Perform contract entry for executed clinical contracts and ensure data accuracy throughout the contract lifecycle
Audit and reconcile clinical trial vendor contracts using financial systems to summarize and consolidate payment history
Coordinate clinical trial payments and ensure invoices are processed accurately within defined timelines
Interface with clinical teams and cross-functional partners regarding payment activities and issue resolution
Identify payment discrepancies and propose corrective actions to prevent future issues
Interpret clinical contracts and payment terms to support accurate invoicing and reporting
Produce timely, accurate payments and management reports
Investigate and resolve contract, invoice, and payment issues with minimal oversight
Communicate status updates, risks, and recommendations to management

Required

High school diploma or equivalent with significant relevant experience, or an associate or bachelor's degree with relevant experience in contracting, finance, or related fields
Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with complex databases
Knowledge of standard business procedures including contracting, finance, and budgeting
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, changing environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction

Preferred

Experience supporting clinical research or clinical trial operations
Exposure to accounts payable, outsourcing, or vendor management functions
Familiarity with clinical study processes and translating protocols into contractual payment terms
Experience using enterprise financial or clinical data systems
