Responsibilities
Inspect incoming components, materials, supplies, and outsourced finished goods in accordance with specifications and procedures
Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, document reviews, and other quality control activities
Inspect labeling, packaging, and inserts of finished goods to confirm compliance with product specifications
Document inspection results in inspection records and electronic systems to determine acceptability or further processing
Support nonconformance handling by identifying issues, notifying management, and assisting with investigations
Segregate, store, and quarantine nonconforming materials and finished goods and ensure proper labeling of status
Document and perform approved rework and discard activities for nonconforming items
Assist with trending and analysis of inspection data to identify potential quality issues or performance drift
Support audit preparation, training completion, Tier board participation, and departmental metrics
Promote a safety first culture and participate in lean and visual manufacturing initiatives
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a quality role within a regulated environment
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and quality control inspection processes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and similar office tools
Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems
Ability to manually maneuver carts and material handling equipment while wearing required protective equipment
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
Preferred
Associate or Bachelor's degree
Experience supporting audits, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
