As the Hard Surface Coordinator, you will ensure that every tile, vinyl, and hardwood installation project runs smoothly by managing purchasing, reviewing orders, and coordinating with subcontractors.

Responsibilities
Solicit and confirm labor quotes for hard surface installations and communicate details to the sales team
Reviewsold hard surface orders, confirm details with sales and estimation, and proactively resolve potential issues before installation
Manage materials purchasing for sold hard surface orders
Monitor incoming materials, verify accuracy, and ensure all products are received, staged, and ready for installation in coordination with warehouse staff
Coordinate with subcontractors and customers to schedule hard surface installations
Collaborate with installation management leadership and subcontractors to address escalations or jobsite issues
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in hard surface flooring, installation, purchasing, or related operations roles (tile, hardwood, vinyl, or similar)
Strong working knowledge of flooring materials or installation processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general digital workflow tools
Ability to work full-time, on-site at our Chicago warehouse
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems (RFMS or similar)
