Responsibilities
Support IBM Guardium in a mainframe environment
Navigate and work within a mainframe environment
Understand how the z/OS Guardium agent extracts database activity (DB2, IMS, etc.)
Understand how the Linux-based Guardium collector receives, processes, and forwards data to the cyber team
Act as a liaison across mainframe, databases, Linux, and security tooling
Qualification
Required
solid mainframe experience
comfortable navigating and working within a mainframe environment
exposure to database activity monitoring
understanding how the z/OS Guardium agent extracts database activity (DB2, IMS, etc.)
understanding how the Linux-based Guardium collector receives, processes, and forwards that data to the cyber team
some level of database logging or monitoring experience is required, regardless of background
Preferred
IBM Guardium expertise
experience installing software as a z/OS systems programmer
experience in database administration, logging, or event monitoring
