Sales Account Manager
Verve Search Group is working with a client seeking a driven and knowledgeable Sales Account Manager to lead the sales of fire sprinkler systems across assigned territories and accounts. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing existing client relationships, and coordinating closely with internal project, design, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a pipeline of new and existing customers, including general contractors, property managers, building owners, and developers
Sell fire sprinkler systems for new construction, retrofits, renovations, and service upgrades
Identify project opportunities, review drawings/specifications, and prepare accurate proposals and bids
Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams to ensure scope accuracy and smooth project execution
Maintain strong client relationships from initial contact through project completion and close-out
Attend job site meetings, walkthroughs, and customer presentations as needed
Track sales activity, forecasts, and opportunities within CRM systems
Stay current on fire codes, NFPA standards, and industry trends
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
Qualification
Required
3+ years of sales experience within fire sprinkler systems or fire protection industry
Strong understanding of sprinkler system types (wet, dry, pre-action, ESFR, etc.)
Experience selling to general contractors, engineers, and building owners
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for client meetings
