Armorock Polymer Concrete is a market leader in precast polymer concrete structures for the wastewater industry. The Estimator will be responsible for compiling accurate sales order quotes and submittal packages, ensuring they meet customer specifications and internal policies, while also coordinating with engineers and contractors.

Responsibilities
Create and compile timely bids and submittal packages within a reasonable timeframe, normally less than 24 hours
Ensure accurate takeoffs for jobs provided by sales
Understand, research and review all technical specifications and requirements of projects being bid
Work with 3rd party engineers to complete buoyancy calculations and structural calculations
Update and revise existing sales orders and submittal packages as necessary
Coordinate regularly with sales and project coordinators, managing the end-to-end submittal process when required
Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and encourage a culture of continuous improvement
Drive improvements in organizational measurement clarity
Collaborate with corporate functions across the board to ensure any required changes to policies, procedures, and processes are implemented
Collaborate with data owners/stewards to align on process and data issues
Respond to questions and act as a liaison between departments
Respond to questions and follow up on pertinent escalations
Sets own goals and ensures others in his/her team achieve goals aligned with business strategy
Builds feeling of ownership across all team members and takes accountability for the team’s success
Develops and builds partnerships with others inside or outside of the company who can provide support

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction science, or a related field
Excellent technical, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Proficiency in relevant software packages (e.g., Timberline, HCSS HeavyBid)
Execute digital shop drawings in line with customer specifications
Create accurately priced sales quotes
Coordinate with external engineers, contractors, and internal teams
Utilize technical knowledge to produce efficient and accurate quotes
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Perform detailed work with speed and accuracy
Professionalism, dependability, and integrity
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Positive attitude and high energy
Strong problem-solving abilities
Preferred
2-3 years of relevant professional experience preferred
Manufacturing industry background preferred
Civil engineering background preferred
Experience with digital drafting software preferred
