Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and develop engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable software and hardware solutions
Define and implement engineering best practices, standards, and processes to improve efficiency and quality
Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to prioritize and plan engineering projects
Drive technical strategy and innovation to support current and future business needs
Monitor and report on engineering performance metrics, resource allocation, and project progress to senior leadership
Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent to build a high-performing and motivated team
Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
Manage budgets, timelines, and risk assessments related to engineering projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
10+ years of progressive experience in engineering roles with at least 5 years in a leadership or management position
Proven track record of successfully leading large engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, architecture, and modern engineering practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Master's degree or higher in a technical discipline or business administration
Experience in scaling engineering organizations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Familiarity with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies
Background in the specific industry relevant to the company's products or services
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
