Infrastructure Engineer (Founding Team / Reliability & Autonomy)
Coders Connect is a seed-stage cybersecurity company building the world’s first fully autonomous penetration tester. They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to build and own the infrastructure for autonomous AI systems, ensuring reliability and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Own and evolve an AWS-based infrastructure from early stage to production grade
Build scalable, automated deployments, moving from EC2 toward serverless where appropriate
Design systems for zero-downtime rollouts, fault tolerance, and cost visibility
Implement deep observability across services and workflows
Take responsibility for reliability, performance, and operational excellence
Partner closely with engineers shipping real AI-driven features
Proactively eliminate failure modes before they impact customers or on-call rotations
Qualification
Required
4–7 years building and running production infrastructure
Deep, hands-on experience with AWS
Strong proficiency in modern Python (3.x)
Experience with Docker and modern deployment patterns, including serverless
Infrastructure as Code experience, Terraform strongly preferred
Strong understanding of networking and distributed systems
Experience operating systems with real users and SLA expectations
Majority of experience in high-bar engineering environments (strong startups or elite teams)
Preferred
Platform or Site Reliability Engineering background
Experience scaling systems from dozens to thousands of users
Observability tooling experience such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or ELK
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and object storage
Experience working close to security-, infrastructure-, or data-heavy products
