Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive OpenShift Container Platform 4 health checks across control plane, worker nodes, networking, storage, and operators
Review OpenShift cluster architecture, installation method (IPI/UPI), and lifecycle management practices
Assess cluster security posture including RBAC, SCCs, image security, and runtime protection using Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (ACS)
Evaluate platform observability including monitoring, logging, alerting, and capacity utilization
Identify risks, misconfigurations, performance bottlenecks, and operational gaps
Provide best-practice recommendations for stability, scalability, security, and compliance
Troubleshoot platform-level issues impacting availability, performance, or security
Deliver clear documentation, findings, and remediation guidance to stakeholders
Support knowledge transfer and platform hardening activities as needed

Required

Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4
Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and OpenShift-specific components
Experience with OpenShift Operators, Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM), and Machine Config Operator (MCO)
Expertise in OpenShift networking (OVN-Kubernetes/SDN, Ingress, Routes, Network Policies)
Experience with OpenShift storage integrations (ODF/Ceph, CSI drivers, NFS, cloud storage)
Strong security knowledge including RBAC, SCCs, certificates, secrets, and image scanning
Hands-on experience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (ACS / StackRox)
Proficiency in cluster troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Loki/ELK)
