Responsibilities
Lead and oversee outside sales efforts to identify and pursue new solar installation opportunities through door-to-door campaigns, networking, and community outreach
Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to generate leads and increase brand awareness in target markets
Manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training, and motivation to achieve sales targets
Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales performance
Conduct technical sales presentations explaining solar energy benefits, system options, and financing solutions to prospective clients
Negotiate contracts with customers ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining company standards
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of solar industry trends, local regulations, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outside sales, especially within energy or solar sales environments
Strong marketing skills with the ability to develop effective outreach campaigns
Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing customer relationships
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals efficiently
Exceptional customer service skills to build trust and long-term relationships with clients
Technical knowledge of solar energy systems coupled with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
Leadership qualities that inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive results
Ability to commute to Mahwah, NJ 07430
Preferred
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases
