Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities
Be the market expert in your area by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Business Development teams, and by constantly researching customers, partners, and the broader ecosystem
Act as a subject-matter leader in the traffic and transportation domain, with a strong understanding of DOTs, traffic operations, traffic planning, and how public-sector transportation agencies evaluate, procure, and adopt technology solutions
Help internal and external stakeholders understand product messaging, positioning, key benefits, and target personas
Drive market positioning, go-to-market messaging and strategy, and competitive analysis for a portfolio of products in the Traffic Management market
Go beyond standard market research to anticipate market trends and identify future opportunities
Represent Rekor in customer engagements and at industry conferences
Contribute to shaping product packaging and pricing
Help develop a portfolio of programs and content to drive successful customer and user adoption
Working collaboratively with other product managers and technical teams to gather, define, and prioritize product requirements
Working internally and externally with Sales, Customer Success, customers, and partners to understand market needs and use cases
Developing new product ideas through market research, customer interviews, discovery processes, competitive analysis, and assessment of technical feasibility
Defining product-market fit and helping drive the strategy and long-term vision for both existing and new product initiatives
Overseeing research, launch, and ongoing management of product initiatives
Owning and maintaining the external roadmap for the product portfolio
Publishing and maintaining clear, credible external roadmaps
Building efficient and robust working processes with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
Creating effective communication channels between the Product team and customers
Improving the Product team’s understanding of the traffic and transportation market, including trends and competitive dynamics
Formalizing and executing go-to-market strategies for the product portfolio
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 5+ years as a Product Manager responsible for a B2B SaaS product
Strong preference for candidates with experience in the traffic, transportation, or intelligent infrastructure domain
Expertise across the full product development lifecycle
Experience leading customer conversations and presenting products
Experience working closely with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Customer Success teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, using data to drive decisions
Demonstrated understanding of DOT environments, traffic operations, traffic planning, or public-sector transportation workflows is a significant advantage
Strong empathy for customers and the ability to translate deep market understanding into impactful product decisions
A team player and enjoyable to work with
Preferred
Experience or familiarity with edge compute devices, edge-based AI systems, or hardware-software integrated solutions is a strong plus
