Business Integra Inc is seeking an experienced Steam Turbine Design Engineer to support outage planning, execution, and complex steam turbine repair projects across industrial, fossil, and nuclear units. This role serves as a technical lead and primary engineering interface for service and repair activities, working closely with field teams, service centers, and global design organizations.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support during steam turbine outage planning and execution
Lead complex repairs (rotors, diaphragms, casings, valves)
Act as technical point of contact for service and repair projects
Manage engineering deliverables for upgrades, capital parts, and valve solutions
Develop inspection and test plans for site and service center work
Support parts engineering and sourcing (form, fit, function)
Participate in design reviews, first-of-a-kind qualifications, and RCA activities
Collaborate with field engineers, service managers, sales, and global engineering teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
5+ years of steam turbine service engineering experience
2+ years of field execution / outage support experience
Strong understanding of steam turbine systems and components
Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA

Preferred

CATIA CAD drafting experience
Experience with turbine disassembly, assembly, and startups
Power generation industry background (industrial, fossil, or nuclear)
Strong communication and project coordination skills
