Responsibilities
Work with Data Center team to complete quarterly maintenance
Assist the Data Center team on equipment repairs as needed
Assist with start-up and commissioning of HVAC systems, including chillers, rooftop units, VRF systems, VFDs, and more
Support technicians during diagnostics and warranty-related service calls, documenting findings and performing basic troubleshooting
Help with system inspections, performance checks, and calibration tasks under technician supervision
Assist in cooling tower rebuilds and cleanings
Prepare and maintain clean, organized work areas on job sites
Load, unload, and stage tools, materials, and equipment
Follow all company safety protocols and wear required PPE
Support documentation of system performance and jobsite progress
Maintain and clean company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Strong interest in industrial/commercial HVAC systems
Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and hand tools
Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a team environment
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Any OSHA, EPA 608, or manufacturer-specific training is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred
Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to build technical knowledge
Comfortable working around high-voltage equipment, controls, and heavy machinery
Detail-oriented and able to document work performed clearly and accurately
Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
