Responsibilities

Provide onsite network support and maintenance for the New SEOC facility

Install, configure, decommission, and relocate network infrastructure from the old site to the new site

Support increased network devices required for SEOC operations

Follow installation and configuration guidance provided by the existing FDEM network team

Travel to other FDEM locations as required (travel costs must be inclusive)

Participate in on-call rotation to support the State Emergency Operations Center (EOC) as needed

Perform work that may fall outside normal business hours, including nights, weekends, or emergencies

Collaborate with Agency IT and Management staff under established project plans and schedules

Qualification

Required

Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and security technologies

Experience supporting enterprise or mid-to-large-scale network environments

Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Ability to follow technical direction and work as part of a team

Willingness to travel to multiple sites as required
