Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth and own the full sales cycle for Milestone’s product line within the territory
Proactively prospect for new business, both in person and virtually, using tools like ZoomInfo and internal databases to build a strong, qualified sales funnel
Evaluate and prioritize accounts strategically to focus efforts on high-impact opportunities and maximize territory performance
Plan and conduct on-site product demonstrations, with an emphasis on the ultraWAVE and DMA-80
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals through consistent funnel development and conversion
Travel extensively within the territory, approximately 70% travel. Primarily driving within a 6-hour radius, with air travel for extended coverage. Occasional visits to Milestone headquarters in Shelton, CT
Maintain a presence in the region by meeting clients, conducting demos, and fostering long-term relationships
Collaborate closely with internal product specialists during sales engagements to deliver technical expertise and drive customer confidence
Partner with Regional Managers and Marketing to develop and execute targeted campaigns
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing sales partners to maximize their benefit to the territory

Required

Applicants must reside within the territory, within two hours of a major airport hub
Sales Experience: 2-5 years of capital equipment sales experience with a history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of inorganic and organic chemistry applications. Experience with sample preparation or metals analysis is a plus
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel within the territory. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner
Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus
Solutions Orientation: Demonstrated ability to take a consultative sales approach, tailoring solutions to meet customer needs
