Advanced Exterior Systems (AES) is a 100% employee-owned architectural cladding design, fabrication, and installation firm, providing high-end exterior wall systems in commercial construction across the Southeast. This role involves revising and updating drawings, maintaining organized documentation, and ensuring compliance with AES standards and industry best practices for cladding and building systems.

Responsibilities

Revise and update drawings as directed by designers and project managers
Maintain organized files and documentation for all drawings and revisions (design, fabrication, installation)
Ensure drawings conform to AES standards and industry best practices for cladding, building system and structural integrity
Participate in team and project coordination meetings; communicate professionally internally and externally (email, phone, in person)
Perform basic calculations and measurements as needed for drafting tasks
Assist in updating and maintaining drawing templates and standards

Qualification

Architectural DraftingCAD DraftingBuilding Systems KnowledgeConstruction DocumentationAttention to Detail

Required

High school education in Architectural Drafting, Architectural Technology, CAD Drafting, or a related field
Basic understanding of architectural drafting principles, building systems, and construction documentation
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Autodesk Certified User Certificate (ACU) optional
