Responsibilities
Lead the evolution of project accounting from transactional support to strategic business partnership
Build scalable, standardized processes across project setup, billing, reporting, and financial controls
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and analytics frameworks that enable real-time visibility into project performance
Partner closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance to elevate overall project profitability and financial accuracy
Mentor and develop a high-performing team committed to excellence and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles
Demonstrated success building or expanding a project accounting function
Strong understanding of revenue recognition, project controls, and project lifecycle financials
ERP expertise—Deltek strongly preferred—with the ability to design and enhance reporting structures
