8+ years expHatch Pros is seeking a Senior Windows Engineer with strong experience in Windows Server administration, SCCM, and SCOM to support and manage enterprise server environments. This role carries end-to-end responsibility for server operations, stability, security, and performance in a 24x7x365 environment.

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end server operations including OS, hardware, patching, firmware, BIOS, and service packs
Maintain and manage server hardware and software to ensure high availability and system stability
Enforce enterprise standards, security policies, and compliance requirements across server platforms
Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during incidents and problem management follow-ups
Drive problem resolution, problem avoidance, and system improvements to enhance stability
Support server lifecycle activities including planning, upgrades, integrations, and decommissioning
Implement releases, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes into production environments
Monitor system performance and availability using SCOM and related tools, ensuring enterprise SLAs are met
Perform capacity planning, workload modeling, tuning, diagnostics, and system maintenance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during incidents, changes, and infrastructure initiatives
Qualification
Required
8+ years of hands-on experience as a Windows / Server Engineer
Strong expertise in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
Proven experience with SCCM (patching, deployments, endpoint management)
Experience with SCOM monitoring and alerting
Solid understanding of server hardware, firmware, BIOS, and OS-level administration
Experience supporting enterprise-scale, 24x7 environments
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Exposure to VMware / virtualized environments
Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
