Responsibilities
Manage an assigned book of personal lines clients, including policy renewals, endorsements, billing inquiries, and coverage changes
Provide professional and timely customer service through phone, email, and in-person communication
Review client accounts to identify coverage gaps, cross-sell opportunities, and ensure adequate protection
Process renewals, rewrites, cancellations, and reinstatements according to agency and carrier guidelines
Communicate effectively with carriers to resolve issues and advocate for clients
Maintain accurate documentation in the agency management system
Stay current with Massachusetts insurance regulations, carrier products, and underwriting requirements
Collaborate with team members to meet department and agency performance goals
Qualification
Required
Massachusetts Property & Casualty Producer License (required)
Minimum 2–3 years of personal lines account management or customer service experience in an insurance agency
Strong understanding of personal insurance products (home, auto, umbrella, etc.) and carrier systems
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience working with multiple carriers in the Massachusetts market
Commitment to client service excellence and relationship-building
Team-oriented attitude with a proactive, solution-driven mindset
