Responsibilities

Provide daily administrative support for life insurance sales and servicing activities
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate client meetings
Prepare and process life insurance applications, policy documents, and sales materials
Maintain accurate and organized electronic and paper client files
Handle incoming and outgoing communications with clients and insurance carriers
Support the full life insurance policy lifecycle, from application submission through policy issuance
Track pending applications and follow up with carriers on underwriting requirements and status updates
Review applications and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Assist with policy changes, servicing requests, and claims support as needed
Maintain sales and policy tracking reports using Microsoft Excel
Utilize Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, to reconcile client data, track applications, and manage policy information
Support reporting, pipeline tracking, and administrative audits
Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and carrier requirements
Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and business information

Required

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years of administrative experience supporting life insurance operations (required)
Strong knowledge of life insurance products, terminology, and processes
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP (required)
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred

Experience with CRM or agency management systems (e.g., AgencyBloc) preferred
Life & Health Insurance license preferred or willingness to obtain
