Responsibilities

Manage the supplier quality and reliability for Battery/UPS components, from NPI through end-of-life
Lead cross-functional initiatives during NPI phases to ensure the technical and operational readiness of the Battery/UPS supply chain for mass production
Partner with Design, Manufacturing, and Commodity teams as the subject matter expert on qualifying and scaling Battery/UPS technologies. Influence product roadmaps and architectural decisions by providing data-driven insights on hardware quality, reliability, and performance trade-offs
Drive the supplier selection and qualification process through on-site audits and technical assessments of their quality and manufacturing capabilities
Drive the resolution of critical fleet and factory issues, leading suppliers through Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), Failure Analysis (FA), and Eight Disciplines (8D) processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, reliability or product engineering

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Quality, Electrical), or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in Quality/Reliability, Battery/UPS and PCBA manufacturing process
Experience with high-volume, high-reliability hardware in industries such as servers, automotive, or aerospace
Excellent teamwork, self-motivation, and attention to detail
Excellent organization, prioritization, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
