InternAscent Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Water Intern to support their water and wastewater engineering team. This role involves assisting with planning, design, and analysis of treatment systems and infrastructure in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Assist in preparing technical drawings, reports, and specifications for water/wastewater systems
Support calculations for pipelines, pumping systems, and treatment facilities
Conduct research and data collection on environmental and regulatory requirements
Participate in field visits, inspections, or data gathering as needed
Collaborate with engineers and project managers on ongoing projects
Perform all other duties as assigned
Work collaboratively and effectively with clients and colleagues including cross-functional teams, peers, direct reports, and leadership, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
Adapt to changing business needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility in taking on new responsibilities and adjusting to evolving challenges
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering or related field
Solid academic performance in water/wastewater coursework
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or related tools
Preferred
Previous internship or co-op experience in water/wastewater projects
Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software (EPANET, WaterGEMS, etc.)
Involvement in environmental or engineering student organizations
