They are seeking an experienced Controller to take ownership of the company’s accounting operations and policies, ensuring operational excellence while scaling the finance infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Own and lead the periodic close process (monthly, quarterly, and annual), which covers:

Delivery of accurate, complete, and timely financial statements

Ownership of all three financial statements - P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet

Multicurrency consolidations and intercompany

Accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations

Revenue recognition under ASC 606

Journal entry preparation and review (as needed)

Provide expert oversight of journal entries: while not entering them day to day, the Controller must fully understand how they should be recorded, be able to correct errors independently, and proactively guide the external accounting firm when needed

Develop and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance processes

Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS

Oversee payroll, VAT, tax filings (Israel and US), and regulatory reporting

Lead ERP implementation: from scoping and configuration to testing, migration, and go-live

Manage relationships with external accounting providers and auditors

Partner with the Head of Finance on budgeting, cash forecasting (CF FCST), board reporting, and investor materials

Monitor and optimize cash flow, working capital, and accounting-related KPIs

Contribute to finance and systems projects as the company scales, ensuring scalability and automation
