Responsibilities
Global compliance strategy across MSB, state MTL, PSP, and EMI frameworks
AML/CTF programs, including SAR governance and FinCEN interaction
State MTL oversight, examinations, renewals, and ongoing regulatory maintenance
Transaction monitoring programs and escalation governance
KYC / EDD program design and execution
OFAC sanctions screening and regulatory reporting
Enterprise AML and compliance risk assessments
Policies, procedures, training, and awareness across the organization
Acting as the primary point of contact for regulators, banking partners, auditors, and licensing authorities
Building, leading, and scaling a global compliance team
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive leadership in FinTech, payments, or MSB environments
Direct ownership of MSB and state MTL compliance programs
Hands-on experience with SAR filing, FinCEN interaction, transaction monitoring, and KYC/EDD
Strong command of AML/CTF and sanctions compliance
Experience operating in multi-jurisdictional environments (U.S., EU, Canada, LATAM a plus)
Proven ability to build and scale compliance functions and teams
Comfortable operating at FinTech speed, with high ownership and ambiguity
CAMS certification required
