Responsibilities
Raise the bar on Marketing Insights best practices
Establish and uphold standards across the research lifecycle: scoping, methodology, analytics, risk mitigation, reporting, and influencing
Identify gaps and opportunities to improve consistency, rigor, and impact across teams
Create programming that helps researchers adapt to evolving business needs (e.g., AI, Metaverse, new marketing models)
Develop trainings, learning series, offsites, and other initiatives that drive alignment and skill-building
Drive clarity around performance expectations and career progression
Promote proactive career planning and development across the org
Build cross-team familiarity and shared understanding
Cultivate a culture of collaboration, learning, and inclusivity within Marketing Insights
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in research, insights, or related fields
Deep experience designing and managing primary research (qualitative and quantitative)
Proven experience designing and running programs that build skills, alignment, or organizational capability (formal or informal)
Strong ability to navigate complex, ambiguous environments — moving initiatives forward, aligning stakeholders, and resolving blockers
Preferred
Experience in Marketing Insights or supporting marketing organizations
Experience working within marketing functions
Background in teaching, coaching, or talent development in tech
In-house research experience (vs. agency-only)
