Microsoft Dynamics Consultant
Talent Groups is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Administrator/Developer to join their IT Applications team. This role is crucial for managing the configuration, maintenance, and support of the D365 F&O ecosystem, ensuring system stability, and supporting business operations through collaboration with various teams.
IT Management
Responsibilities
Manage, configure, and support all D365 F&O environments (Production, UAT, SIT, Gold)
Perform configuration changes including system setup, module parameters, workflows, forms, and business rules
Support light development or enhancements aligned with business requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally to support integrations and development efforts
Define, maintain, and audit security roles, permissions, and user provisioning
Maintain segregation of duties (SoD) compliance and support internal audit processes
Manage entity-level access controls and maintain security documentation
Support data migration, validation, and ongoing data quality efforts
Partner with BI and functional teams to ensure consistent and accurate data across systems
Troubleshoot data issues across integrated platforms
Monitor system performance, proactively identifying instability or risks
Act as a primary point of contact for issue resolution, troubleshooting, and incident management
Work closely with functional users, IT teams, vendors, and project leaders to resolve issues
Provide essential support during go-live and post-go-live stabilization
Maintain accurate configuration documentation, security role mappings, and process flows
Support reporting requirements and prepare functional/technical documentation
Provide clear and consistent updates to IT leadership and project stakeholders
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on administration or configuration experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
Strong understanding of D365 security, workflows, business rules, and environment management
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for tracking work items and coordinating deployments
Strong functional and technical troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work effectively with IT teams, business users, integration partners, and vendors
Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills
Ability to work onsite at least 3 out of 5 days per week (5 days preferred during critical phases)
Must work onsite at 400 Birmingham Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37419
Preferred
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 F&O Apps Administrator Associate
Experience with Power Automate or other workflow automation tools
Experience supporting third-party integrations (API, EDI, middleware, etc.)
Background in logistics, 3PL, transportation, or distribution environments
Experience collaborating with BI/data teams
