Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive UX research strategy aligned with business goals
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX researchers across qualitative and quantitative disciplines
Advocate for the voice of the user across cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing
Oversee the planning and execution of user research studies including usability testing, ethnographic research, surveys, and data analysis
Translate complex user behaviors and needs into actionable insights
Ensure research findings are effectively communicated and integrated into product roadmaps
Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritize research initiatives and influence product strategy
Foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and empathy across the organization
Promote best practices in research methodologies, tools, and ethics
Build scalable research operations including participant recruitment, tooling, and knowledge management
Monitor and report on research impact and ROI to executive leadership
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in UX and user research
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in UX research, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of driving strategic impact through user insights
Expertise in a wide range of research methods and tools
Strong communication and storytelling skills
Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments
Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field preferred
Preferred
Passion for user-centered design and innovation
Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
Experience in B2B, SaaS, or consumer tech environments
Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles
