Responsibilities
Lead manufacturing efforts from product transfer through sustained production
Develop and validate robust, scalable processes that meet yield, throughput, and cost targets
Apply Lean tools (5S, VSM, CI) to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Drive improvements to existing product lines—tooling, equipment, layouts, and methods
Execute process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ, Gauge R&R), and support statistical data analysis
Specify and implement new manufacturing equipment; develop PM procedures and ROI justifications
Support regulatory compliance (ISO 13485, cGMP) and maintain up-to-date documentation (DMRs, risk assessments)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing or regulated process engineering
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred), Microsoft Office, and statistical tools (DOE, Minitab)
Strong understanding of ISO 13485, QMS, and validation methodologies
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior team members
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
