Responsibilities

Take assigned tasks from idea to implementation, ensuring high-quality results
Develop clean, maintainable code and contribute to peer reviews for best practices
Build & run tests to keep features reliable and user friendly
Identify and fix technical issues to keep our apps running smoothly
Work alongside designers, product managers, and engineers to develop features that matter

Required

Experience with languages like Dart, Swift, JavaScript, or Python
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration
Ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently
Passion for using technology to help people grow spiritually and connect with God
Sees work as more than a job - it's a calling to serve others and advance God's Kingdom
1-3 years in software development
Eager to learn new technologies and adapt to different platforms
Excited about building software that helps people engage with Scripture and grow in faith

Preferred

A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Experience with Python and/or Golang
Familiarity with cloud technologies for deployment and scaling
Understanding of performance-focused, scalable system design
Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in Dart and Flutter
Hands-on experience developing Android applications
Understanding of testing, UX best practices, and Android app optimization
Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
Proficiency in Combine and asynchronous/await
Awareness of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and modern iOS development practices
Experience with Next.js, React, and Node.js
Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
Understanding of scalable, responsive web development
