Responsibilities

Experience in assembling and repairing boiler structures, with the ability to follow detailed blueprints

Proficiency in inspecting and repairing boiler fittings such as safety valves and automatic-control mechanisms

Skilled in reading and interpreting temperature, pressure, and ampere gauges to ensure optimal equipment performance

Expertise in testing electrical systems for voltage to diagnose potential malfunctions

Ability to observe and record operational parameters, including temperature and pressure, to maintain specified operations

Capability to troubleshoot and make repairs on boiler and auxiliary units, ensuring their efficient performance

Knowledge in testing boiler feed water and maintaining logs of meter readings and other essential data

Experience with automatic combustion control systems, feed water regulators, and steam pressure adjustments

Familiarity with steam systems, hydronic systems, and installation and maintenance of electrical components and wiring

Adherence to safety regulations and departmental policies while operating electrical equipment
