Responsibilities

Recording financial transactions: Maintain and update financial records including income, expenses, purchases, sales, and payments in the general ledger. This involves entering or importing data into accounting software

Preparing financial statements: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into the company's financial health

Reconciling bank accounts: Regularly reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Processing payroll: Calculate wages, withhold taxes, and issue payments

Collaboration: Working with tax accountants and auditors

Educational Background: A two- or four-year degree in accounting, or a related field is preferred, or years of relevant experience
