Responsibilities

Support Planet’s IT Asset Management initiative including coordination and collaboration with engineering and architecture, information security, project management, data and application teams, asset owners, and other stakeholders

Works with vendors and internal staff to implement, integrate, and manage related software solutions. Collaborate with information security on implementing classification and tagging requirements

Work in collaboration with project management and information security to meet regulatory requirements and deadlines

Interoperates with IT Operations and other IT Teams with regards to systems engineering, issues and updates

Provides system and end user operational support when required

Works with the Access Control team members to make sure that systems access is appropriate and maintainable

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business with emphasis in IT, business, or equivalent required

Minimum of 5 years' experience working with Microsoft server and storage environments including Azure IaaS/Paas or other cloud environments

Minimum of 5 years' experience working with SaaS solutions such as Microsoft 365 and typical enterprise cloud platforms and line of business applications

Experience with managing physical end user devices via Intune, and working in virtual desktop environments such as Citrix, Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop

Experience with managing physical and virtual systems, including servers, storage systems, hardware, and operating systems

Experience providing operational IT support and customer service

Advanced experience in Microsoft solutions and environments

Understands multiple IT platforms, services, and technologies. Strong ability to research and learn new systems and integrate solutions

Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Works well with InfoSec / Networking / Application team members to provide and receive guidance, support, and feedback

Positive attitude and ability to interact professionally with key business contacts, stakeholders, and executives as required. Strong customer service orientation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and training other team members

Understanding of project management. Prior work as a project engineer is a plus

Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. Able to interpret requirements, develop solutions, and deliver results. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
