We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with experience in Java to join our diverse team. The role involves developing innovative features for real-time situational awareness systems and working collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Develop innovative new features for a new real-time situational awareness Command & Control Systems (C2) using Java

Design, architect and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment

Work in a highly collaborate team environment to design, architect and innovate software solutions

Required

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Relevant work experience in software development using the Java SDK (must)

Relevant work experience in software development using Object Oriented Design methodologies such as Model View Controller

Experience and/or knowledge in programming multithreaded systems

Experience in software development using C++

Ability to engage & build positive relationships with both customers as well as internal & external employees

Strong oral & written communication skills & proven leadership skills

Opportunities for travel to customer sites for demos, integration and support

Strong computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms and information retrieval

Relevant work experience using SW Development tools (e.g. Maven, Apache Ant, Jenkins, etc)

Relevant work experience with full life cycle development including exposure to software requirements, design, development, debug and test
