Assistant Business Development Manager (Key Account Manager)
Feldkamp Marketing is a trusted partner of Kroger, focusing on empowering brands to achieve growth in the retail environment. The Assistant Business Development Manager will support growth initiatives, build relationships, and drive the company's mission within the Kroger landscape.
Responsibilities
Supports Vitamin Team business objectives to drive company and category sales
Develop in-depth understanding and become a category expert in VMS
Support new item meetings, sales materials, product samples and POG development
Pro-actively assist vendors and team in key areas of the VMS category
Coordinate and develop presentations for Vitamin suppliers
Analyze business performance data and competitive landscape to keep Vitamin Team informed of trends and opportunities that impact ability to meet annual goals
Use key insights to drive brand activity, new products, strategies, and thought leadership
Become a Vitamins category expert, identifying trends and translating them into strategies to drive growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or a related field
1-2 years in Business Development Management/Marketing/Sales ideally in the Kroger network
Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), preferably at or servicing Kroger Corporate
Strong work ethic with high energy level, motivation, and enthusiasm
Superior executional skills with strong attention to detail and time management
Resourceful problem solver with ability to learn quickly
Ambitious self-starter who will be proactive in finding solutions
Demonstrates strong teamwork skills and the ability to take initiative in guiding daily work
Ability to convert data into solid strategic recommendations
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Solid Excel and PowerPoint program skills
Provide accurate, well-organized data in a timely manner
