Director of Information Technology
Confidential company is seeking a Director of Information Technology who will lead the organization’s technology strategy with a focus on enterprise applications and operational excellence. This role involves overseeing business applications, ensuring high-quality support services, and driving continuous improvement across IT operations while partnering with business leaders to align technology solutions with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
Oversee the selection, implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other business systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into application requirements and roadmaps
Lead application governance, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational standards
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance for application-related services and solutions
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system functionality, user experience, and data quality
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the IT help desk, desktop support, and end‑user services teams
Establish service-level standards and ensure timely, effective resolution of support requests
Implement best practices for incident management, problem management, and request fulfillment
Oversee asset management, including hardware lifecycle planning and software licensing
Ensure strong communication and customer service across all support functions
Contribute to the development of the organization’s IT strategy, policies, and long‑term technology roadmap
Ensure IT operations comply with security, regulatory, and organizational requirements
Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
Monitor technology trends and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, security, and business outcomes
Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff across applications, support, and operations teams
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
Build strong partnerships with internal departments to ensure IT services meet evolving business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
7–10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles
Strong background in enterprise applications management and implementation
Proven experience managing IT support teams and service delivery operations
Excellent communication, project management, and vendor management skills
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on operational leadership
Preferred
Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
