Responsibilities
Act as Principal Architect for enterprise data products on GCP
Assess a homegrown data regression testing framework currently integrating with Dataplex, and:
Recommend improvements, replacement, or hybrid approaches
Define a clear architectural path forward
Design automated, repeatable data regression testing that provides:
Clear, durable documentation
Auditable artifacts suitable for enterprise governance
Explainability (what was tested, why it matters, and expected outcomes)
Improve data quality and observability, including:
Evaluating commercial and native tooling
Leading short, focused POCs
Providing recommendations across tools such as Dataplex Data Quality, Monte Carlo, Anomalo, or similar platforms
Define standards, patterns, and reference architectures that internal teams can sustainably own after the engagement
Provide architectural guidance while partnering with internal engineers on implementation strategy
