Forklift Operator

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services major telecommunications providers. The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating PIT equipment to move, locate, and stack products/materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to appropriate locations
Stacks and stores products in designated areas using a forklift, push-pull, or other powered equipment
Pulls and prepares products for shipment by ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded
Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers and the production floor
Use of electric pallet jack/forklift/swing reach
Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following the established warehouse safety standards/regulations
Immediately report any incidents or accidents involving PIT equipment to a Supervisor/Manager
Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security
Assists in physical inventories
Ensures proper stock rotation
May require performing picking duties in an efficient manner
All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports

Required

At least 1 years' experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment
Maintain compliance with CTDI's PIT certification requirements
Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion
Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office (Excel, and Outlook)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent work experience
United States (Required)
Must be 18 years of age

Preferred

Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
Time-management skills
Written and verbal communication skills
