TCCH SLOT MANAGER
Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel is seeking a Slots Manager to coordinate all activities and manage all phases of the slots operations. This role involves project management responsibilities and developing procedures for slot operations in compliance with gaming policies.

Responsibilities
Perform as a working supervisor by spending a percentage of time, as communicated by the Enterprise Manager, on the floor in a frontline or support capacity
Responsible for guiding, coaching, scheduling, training, and developing the technical and personal skills of Slot personnel
Responsible for working toward the financial goals of the business
Recommend physical layout of equipment, manpower, and floor space
Coordinate slot operations with other departments, including Marketing and Table Games, to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations
Develops both short and long-term goals and objectives for the assigned slot department, in alignment with those of the property
Confers and works closely with supervisor to review achievements and discuss necessary changes in goals or objectives resulting from current or projected future status or conditions
Must possess working knowledge of all positions within the Slot Department
Training supervisors on all Human Resources forms and processes related to disciplinary actions, employee time off requests, terminations, personnel policies and procedures, and how to manage employee situations that may arise
Working knowledge of SDS or similar system
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and tribal gaming policies and procedures in accordance with GTB gaming commission internal controls standards
Provide hiring decisions, performance reviews, salary actions, personnel actions, training, and work scheduling for the department in accordance with EDC personnel policies
Plan, submit, implement, and monitor approved annual budget requirements
Prepare, review, and submit slot performance statistical analysis reports
Recommend purchases, leases, upgrades, and conversions of machines and floor configuration to maximize revenues
Schedule and monitor a preventative maintenance program and maintain an essential spare parts inventory to ensure maximum equipment and systems operability and serviceability
Review, investigate, and resolve all slot machine and related systems infractions, improprieties, and disputes involving guests and employees
Monitor and implement procedures to improve response time for slot transactions to provide outstanding customer service
Coordinate department resources in support of marketing promotions and special events
Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations
Other duties as necessary
Qualification
Required
Must have three to five years of management experience, with at least three years of experience specifically in casino slots operations, including one to two years of slot supervisory role
Must be proficient in the use of computers as well as have a working knowledge of Synkros or a similar slot accounting system
Proven results-oriented analysis skills and prior budget creation and monitoring experience are necessary
Must possess the ability to evaluate the changing needs of the business and/or department and to respond accordingly
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written
Must be a team player with a positive attitude
Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks at one time
Must be able to complete tasks and projects in a timely manner by prioritizing obligations and time
Must possess the ability to work with various personalities while maintaining impartiality
Must respond to supervisory guidance and assignments and accept constructive criticisms in order to learn new, updated information
The need for quickness and ease of adjustment to the work environment and flexibility to change are essential in this position
Excellent project management, counseling techniques and team building skills
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the Tribal insurance carrier
Local travel to other assigned properties, as well as out-of-town, overnight travel, is required as needed
Must be able and willing to work in a crowded, loud, smoking environment
Must be able to handle being under constant surveillance
May be required to work in a confined space
Must practice all safety policies, procedures, and standards as set by OSHA
Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug and alcohol urinalysis as a condition of employment
Must be able to work flexible hours and to take on additional responsibilities when asked
Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
