2+ years exp6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Property Accountant on behalf of one of our commercial real estate clients. The role is responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting for assigned properties while partnering closely with property operations.

Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable and payable functions, including tenant billings, deposits, invoicing, and weekly check runs
Prepare and review monthly financial reports, cash analyses, budgets, and reconciliations for assigned properties
Maintain general ledger accuracy, review rent rolls and aging reports, and coordinate management fees and annual 1099 processing
Support audits, owner reporting requests, and collaborate with property managers on delinquencies and operational needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
At least 2 years of retail property accounting experience required
Commercial real estate accounting experience, including CAM reconciliations, is required
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
