Design, evolve, and optimize our cloud-based data and AI/ML architecture
Combine strategic leadership, technical vision, and hands-on implementation to build scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms and AI/ML workflows
Communicate complex designs through documentation and diagrams
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience using distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, MapReduce, Databricks)
Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions in Azure
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques
Proficiency with both relational and non-relational database systems
Exceptional diagramming and architectural documentation skills using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent
Preferred
Advanced proficiency with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks)
Expertise in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and related ecosystems
Deep knowledge of data security, privacy, and governance practices
Experience with scripting and programming languages, particularly Python and SQL
Prior experience with MLOps frameworks and cloud automation tooling
