Responsibilities
Inspect and troubleshoot electrostatic precipitators, baghouses, scrubbers, fans, ductwork, conveyors, and ash handling systems
Document findings with photos and detailed reports used for repairs, budgeting, and engineering solutions
Support maintenance crews during outages and provide quality control
Perform both mechanical and electrical tasks (cross-trained role)
Communicate directly with customers during outage meetings and troubleshooting events
Qualification
Required
Mechanical and/or electrical background (industrial preferred)
Basic electrical knowledge (meters, transformers, control panels, AC/DC concepts)
Mechanical aptitude (rigging, drives, alignment, welding inspection a plus)
Comfortable with physically demanding work, confined spaces, and climbing
Proficient with Windows laptops and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (AutoCAD taught)
Willing and able to travel extensively
