Responsibilities

Assist in the review and analysis of current data practices within lab-based departments, identifying areas for improvement
Support the development and implementation of data pipelines to ensure seamless integration of diverse data sources
Develop and improve dashboards and visualizations to enhance data interpretation and decision-making processes
Utilize digital tools and data analytics to support R&D initiatives and streamline workflows
Work on lab equipment connectivity and ensure seamless integration between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) systems
Collaborate with senior Scientific Data Transformation Leaders to enhance data quality, accessibility, and integrity according to Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability (FAIR) principles

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or related fields at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by Spring 2028
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship

Preferred

A strong interest in data management, biopharmaceutical R&D, and digital transformation strategies
Basic understanding of FAIR data principles and data standardization processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills with fluency in English; French is advantageous
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multinational team environment
Having a personal vehicle is preferred as commuting in the area is not recommended
