Responsibilities

Develop and execute programmatic advertising campaigns across various platforms that align with client objectives and target audience behavior
Design sophisticated programmatic buying strategies, determining the right mix of open exchange, Private Marketplaces (PMPs), and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals
Analyze audience data (including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data segments) and research insights to inform media strategy, DSP selection, and platform allocation
Identify emerging media trends, technologies, and innovations that can enhance campaign effectiveness
Collaborate with creative, strategy, and analytics teams to ensure media plans support broader campaign goals
Own platform execution and day-to-day management across digital media channels (CTV/OLV, audio, display, etc.)
Manage hands-on-keyboard setup within Demand Side Platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360), including campaign trafficking, bid strategy management, and pixel implementation
Monitor and manage campaign pacing, optimization strategies, and performance metrics to ensure KPIs are met
Ensure strict adherence to brand safety, viewability, and fraud prevention standards using verification partners (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify)
Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights to improve performance and efficiency
Utilize A/B testing methodologies and performance analysis to refine targeting, messaging, and placements
Partner with Account and Strategy teams to present media plans, insights, and recommendations to clients
Serve as a trusted media expert in discussions with internal teams and external vendors
Maintain relationships with media platform partners and data providers to access unique inventory or beta opportunities; stay updated on new capabilities and best practices
Provide support in reporting and performance analysis for client presentations and internal reviews
Track and analyze key performance indicators (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, outcomes data, etc.) to optimize and refine media efforts
Analyze cross-channel attribution to understand the specific impact of programmatic touchpoints on the customer journey
Develop post-campaign performance reports with insights and recommendations for future media activations
Work with Analytics teams to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting for all media campaigns

Required

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
2+ years of experience in media planning and activation, ideally within an agency or healthcare-focused environment
Experience managing digital media campaigns across multiple platforms (programmatic)
Proficiency in programmatic platforms (DSPs, DMPs, etc.) and ad operations
Strong understanding of media buying platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic DSPs
Strong analytical skills with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with reporting platforms (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Tableau)
Hands-on experience with leading DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360) and SSPs
Strong understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem, including DMP usage and third-party data providers (e.g., Crossix, IQVIA)
Proficiency in analyzing media performance metrics and optimizing campaigns based on insights
Knowledge of audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and customer journey mapping
Familiarity with healthcare marketing challenges, including regulatory considerations (HIPAA, FDA guidelines) and understanding of 'sensitive health data' policies on social platforms
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present insights effectively
Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Prior experience optimizing campaigns toward health-specific KPIs (e.g., Audience Quality/NPI match) is highly desirable
