Responsibilities
Engage in installation tasks based on proficiency levels
Perform rough-in and trim tasks during new construction and renovations, such as running and terminating cabling, reading plans, trimming wall plates, and installing speakers and networking gear
Install and program security systems, install motorized shades, configure networks, trim equipment racks, and install audio/video installations
Qualification
Required
At least 3+ years of in-field residential audio/visual installations
Experience in residential and commercial project phases of rough-in, trim, and final installation
Experience with hanging TVs, projectors, and projector screens
Knowledge of low-voltage cabling best practices and standards
Cut in and install architectural speakers and in-wall touch screens
Knowledge of basic networking practices, switch/router/access point setup, and configuration of IP devices
Experience with security systems and video surveillance products, and installation
Device setups, media rooms, retrofits, a/v racks, pre-wires, and more
Work safely with power tools and on ladders, scaffolding, and scissors lifts
Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and be accountable for work quality
An eagerness to learn and work hard as part of a growing team
Ability to work well with others, have a customer service-oriented mindset, and a strong work ethic
Clean driving record and background check
Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and basic tools for working with low-voltage equipment
Preferred
Control4, Lutron programming, and networking experience a big plus
