Responsibilities

Prepare real estate partnerships’ financial statements

Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, resolve issues timely and ensure balances are properly supported and explained

Perform and review general ledger activities such as journal entries for accruals or expense account reclassifications

Support the financial close process by processing the necessary journal entries and performing the required variance analysis. Ensure accuracy with adherence to deadlines

Review and analyze monthly activities for accuracy providing recommendations when opportunities for improvement are presented

Assist with a variety of ad hoc requests

Collaborate with outside service providers on projects to fully utilize software and establish best in class practices

Collaborate closely with tax team for tax planning and schedules

Qualification

CPA LicenseAccounting degreeFinancial reportingGeneral ledger activitiesProblem-solving skillsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Active CPA License

Six years of relevant experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills and process improvement mindset
