Responsibilities
Overseeing operations of concession stands, including daily travels to the bank, and the opening and closing of outdoor pool sites
Sets up the pool for proper operation according to program grids, calendars, and posted hours; reconfigures pool as needed for special programs
Monitors safe use of pools by customers and responds to injuries that may occur in a pool environment
Completes daily and weekly chemical readings and maintains levels to health code standards in pools
Maintains emergency preparedness in the pool facility
Supervises and assists with scheduling Lifeguards and Water Attendant Staff
Maintenance and use of the vehicle for occasional meetings and bank visits
Prioritizing the health, safety, and company service standards for all our external and internal customers
Additional critical job responsibilities may be undertaken that are specific to the role and departmental assignment
Qualification
Required
Completion of 11th grade
One (1) year experience in overseeing aquatic or pool operations including six (6) months in a leadership role
Must undergo credit, DMV, and criminal background checks
Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
Loudoun County approved pool operator's license within 30 days of hire
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Related degree or certification in Parks and Recreation, Environmental Education and/or Natural Resources
