Critical Intervention Specialist

CBEM is a leader in innovative crisis services providing holistic support for individuals with developmental disabilities. The Critical Intervention Specialist will support individuals in crisis, develop stabilization plans, and consult with other professionals while participating in crisis management and training.

Responsibilities

Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management
Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review
Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist
Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls
Participate in clinical trainings
Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings

Qualification

Master's DegreeHuman Services ExperienceCrisis ManagementDevelopmentally Disabled ExperienceASLSpanish LanguageMandarin LanguageCantonese LanguageTagalog Language

Required

Must hold a Master's Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or other related Psychological fields
Experience in the human services field required
Must have a California Driver's license in good standing and insurance
Given the requirements of the crisis response time, applicants must live in close proximity to or in the North Los Angeles Regional Center service area (locations include but not limited to, Palmdale, Lancaster, Acton, Santa Clarita, Pearblossom, Valencia, Quartz Hill, Agua Dulce, Canyon County, Lake Los Angeles.)

Preferred

Preferred experience with the Developmentally Disabled population is a bonus!
Applicants who speak Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, and/or ASL are STRONGLY encouraged to apply
